We love camping but we haven't had time (or desire) to go this year.
The Hubby and I both know that in September, we are all going camping with The Boy's cub scout pack and need to get The Girl used to sleeping in a tent.
That said.... We went camping in our back yard this weekend!
Nothing like getting away from it all - but not really.
The Boy and The Girl helped The Hubby get the tent set up.
I got to sit by and watch. (LOVE THAT!)
We played around for a while and The Girl wanted to ride her trike... so
What you don't see is the bottle of Sunny-d sticking out of the "trunk" in the back. TOO CUTE!
Summary:
The Girl did great but was chatty right until she fell asleep.
The Boy got annoyed with The Girl and went back inside.
The Hubby fell asleep at 8:30.
I slept intermittently while watching (and hearing) The Girl slip and slide around on her princess sleeping bag while wearing her silky Dora jammies.
I need a nap.
Your camping trip sounds fun. ha ha Although, I must say, backyard camping is the only way I go. House, food , kitchen, and your own bathroom just a few feet away makes it easier to sleep outside. :)
